Grimmley is an adorable little guy around 1 year old who is ready to find his forever family! Grimmley may be small, but he has a big personality packed into that long little body. We suspect he may have some Dachshund and terrier in his mix, and his cutest feature might just be his precious little underbite. Grimmley was almost euthanized at the shelter simply for being timid in such a scary, overwhelming environment. Once he got out of the shelter, though, we quickly got to see who Grimmley really is: a sweet, friendly, adaptable little guy who has settled into his new surroundings incredibly well. He is dog, cat, and kid approved and has even done wonderfully at busy public events! He walks on leash, enjoys being out and about, and has shown us that he can adjust beautifully to new environments and experiences. More than anything, Grimmley is looking for someone who will love him forever. After coming so close to losing his life before it had really even begun, this sweet boy deserves a family of his own and a lifetime of being loved. Grimmley is ready to meet you!
This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.
🧠 Temperament
Once he got out of the shelter, though, we quickly got to see who Grimmley really is: a sweet, friendly, adaptable little guy who has settled into…. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
He walks on leash, enjoys being out and about, and has shown us that he can adjust beautifully to new environments and experiences. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
