A snuggle bug, a sniffing enthusiast, and the world’s biggest belly rub lover (according to the Pudsey Book of World Records), Pudsey is ready to become the cutest dog in your life. Seriously, if you stop rubbing his belly he’ll grab your arm with his paws and gently direct you to continue. When he’s not getting his belly rubbed, he’ll entertain you with his patented gremlin noises. He busts them out when he’s eating and when he’s goofing around. And if you need one more reason to be obsessed with him, his feet look like dragon paws. Need we say more? Pudsey has been healing from an injury but we think he’d do well in a home with other dogs or as your one and only. He’s also met kids out in the world and thought they were great. The more hands for belly rubs, the better!
🧠 Temperament
Affectionate, people-loving and often startlingly goofy — pit bull type dogs are typically very social with humans. Dog-to-dog tolerance varies a lot by individual, so the rescue's observations matter more than the label.
🎾 Exercise
High — 60+ minutes daily plus chew and puzzle outlets. They are strong and benefit from structured training.
✂️ Grooming
Very easy. Short coat, minimal shedding, thin coat means a winter jacket.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
The main obstacle is paperwork, not the dog: many buildings and insurers restrict pit bull type dogs, and enforcement is based on appearance. Confirm your building's policy first.
