Pumpkin is available for adoption in Los Angeles, California only Meet Pumpkin, a three year old French Bulldog who is as sweet as his name. He was found dumped and brought to a shelter, where he was at risk simply for having a condition that looks more concerning than it actually is. Pumpkin has a congenital difference where the skin around his penis is split. It does not affect his quality of life. He urinates normally, has zero incontinence, and is not in any pain. He is not a candidate for surgery, and while he may be slightly more prone to UTIs, he has not had any issues so far. He is otherwise a happy, healthy boy who is ready to live a full and normal life. And his personality truly shines. Pumpkin is playful, fun, and still has that adorable puppy energy in the best way. He is very well behaved, loves people, and gets along great with everyone he meets. He is the kind of dog that brings joy wherever he goes. Pumpkin is looking for a loving home that will see past his minor difference and give him the life he deserves. He has so much love to give and cannot wait to meet his forever family.

French Bulldog

🧠 Temperament

He is very well behaved, loves people, and gets along great with everyone he meets. Comic, affectionate and people-oriented.

🎾 Exercise

Low — two or three short walks and some indoor play. They tire quickly.

✂️ Grooming

Short coat is easy, but facial folds need regular cleaning to prevent infection.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

Near-ideal apartment dog: small, quiet and low-exercise. The serious caveat is breathing — flat faces make them dangerously heat-intolerant, so summer walks must be early, short and shaded. Expect higher vet costs.

Adoption fee $500
