After being hit by a car and left at a local LA shelter to be euthanized, her story could have ended there—but we stepped in just in time. She underwent double leg surgery and is now fully healed, moving around with strength and joy. Despite everything she’s been through, Rachel’s spirit is as sweet and joyful as ever. She’s a total people dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side—your shadow, your snuggle buddy, your constant companion. She thrives in a home where someone is around often and would love to be the center of your world. While she’s friendly with other dogs, Rachel is truly human-oriented and will bond deeply with her person. Because of her past injuries, she’d do best in a home with no or minimal stairs to keep her active life comfortable and safe.
