Party animal alert! Miss Solange wants to be your adventuring sidekick. The Samwise to your Frodo. The Spock to your Kirk. The Donkey to your Shrek. Solange is a high-octane gal with lots of oomph for the trails, agility courses, and campsites. She's a ham with people and the perfect partner for team sports. She's more of a people dog than a dog's dog. She may not actually be a Knowles, but she's got main character energy. Solange is a country girl at heart and prefers a quiet neighborhood to the hustle and bustle of a downtown. If you're on the hunt for a #2, ask to meet her today!
🧠 Temperament
Affectionate, people-loving and often startlingly goofy — pit bull type dogs are typically very social with humans. Dog-to-dog tolerance varies a lot by individual, so the rescue's observations matter more than the label.
🎾 Exercise
High — 60+ minutes daily plus chew and puzzle outlets. They are strong and benefit from structured training.
✂️ Grooming
Very easy. Short coat, minimal shedding, thin coat means a winter jacket.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Solange is a country girl at heart and prefers a quiet neighborhood to the hustle and bustle of a downtown. The main obstacle is paperwork, not the dog: many buildings and insurers restrict pit bull type dogs, and enforcement is based on appearance.
