A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Fully grown at about 41 lbs.
Helena's entire life was turned upside down when her loving owner suddenly and tragically lost their life. Leaving behind the sweet pup they adopted less than 2 years ago from Animal Haven, she had no where else to go. Of course, Helena always has a place with us, but we are heartbroken for her and all she has been through. Helena was adopted out as a young pup and has known nothing but love her entire life. From the moment she entered our care at just a few weeks old with her mother and siblings, we've always known she was special. She gets along well with other dogs, lived with a senior cat, and is just an all around good girl. She's a little pocket bully and is a good size for an apartment and would make a great companion for her future family. Come meet Helena at Animal Haven! (We still have her baby pictures, look how much she's grown!)
🧠 Temperament
Helena's entire life was turned upside down when her loving owner suddenly and tragically lost their life. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
She's a little pocket bully and is a good size for an apartment and would make a great companion for her future family. Mixes are often excellent city dogs.
