A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Fully grown at about 22 lbs.
Quiche is all Frenchie, all the time! Expect snorting, a little bit of drool, and a big personality! Quiche previously lived with another Frenchie, but he can be a bit selective with his canine companions. If you have another pup at home, we'd encourage you to set up a meet and greet to see what Quiche thinks! Those familiar with this breed know that Frenchies are prone to health issues, and sadly, Quiche is no different. Like most brachycephalic dogs, Quiche will need to go easy on the activity, especially during warmer months. He also has some tummy issues which we're getting to the bottom of, but we've thankfully ruled out Megaesophagus. It's likely that Quiche will need to be on a special diet for life. Please contact our team for more information! Adopt Quiche!
🧠 Temperament
Expect snorting, a little bit of drool, and a big personality!. Comic, affectionate and people-oriented.
🎾 Exercise
Low — two or three short walks and some indoor play. They tire quickly.
✂️ Grooming
Short coat is easy, but facial folds need regular cleaning to prevent infection.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Near-ideal apartment dog: small, quiet and low-exercise. The serious caveat is breathing — flat faces make them dangerously heat-intolerant, so summer walks must be early, short and shaded. Expect higher vet costs.
