This 22-lb cutie pie is a sweet soul with playful energy and eyes that will absolutely melt you. He loves toys, butt scratches, brushing sessions, and quality playtime with his person. At home, Bernie is potty-trained, crate-trained, settles quickly, and even puts himself to bed at night. When left alone, he curls right up in his crate without a fuss. He’s also fantastic in the car and will sit the entire ride quietly. Bernie is likely an active mix breed like an Australian shepherd. He is energetic and curious, but is also learning to be confident in new environments. He can be fearful of men, so would do well with a female owner, or someone willing to devote the time to making him feel safe. He’s making great progress with leash manners, but will need an observant handler as new things can scare him easily. He loves other dogs and is very playful!
