This sweet old man waited three long years to be noticed. That's over 1,000 days in a cold, rural shelter, waiting patiently to be seen. Buddy ended up at the Delano Shelter, a rural facility that sees very little foot traffic. The volunteers do their best to help the dogs that end up there, but the reality is that there are very few resources to help these dogs get out of their kennels for walks and proper enrichment. We don't know much about his life before he ended up at the shelter, but we do know he is the sweetest old man on planet earth. Buddy is bulletproof with other dogs and so sweet with humans! He still has quite the pep in his step and really enjoys going for walks! He's wonderful on leash and also very affectionate. He actually tried to climb onto his foster dad's lap to curl up with all of his 60lbs! Buddy would make a wonderful companion dog to a lucky family! Please consider adopting this sweet boy by heading over to our website to fill out an application for him at loveleorescue.org
