Coconut was rescued from the streets of Mexico after being hit by a car and suffering a severe injury to her front leg. Even while dragging her injured leg, she continued caring for her five tiny puppies. Her babies were rescued first, while Coconut waited for someone to step up for her. We knew this sweet mama deserved a chance, too. Today, Coconut is safe and settling into the comfort of a loving foster home. After everything she’s endured, her gentle, loving personality is shining through. Coconut is truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll meet. Not only is she perfect at 35lbs, shes growing so fast. Once she, she has been learning to trust and loves receiving affection. Her favorite activities include lounging around the house, wagging her tail when someone comes over to pet her, and snuggling with her people. She loves other dogs, enjoys short walks where she can sniff and explore, and is doing wonderfully in her home environment. She’s crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy companion to welcome into your life. After spending so much time surviving on the streets and caring for her babies while injured, Coconut deserves a family who will care for her just as devotedly as she cared for them.
