Moxie was dumped in East LA along with her family, left behind with no one coming back for them. Thankfully, we were able to save her and give her the chance she deserved.
Despite everything she has been through, she remains incredibly loving, gentle, and trusting. She is wonderful with other dogs, enjoys companionship, and has shown nothing but kindness and gratitude.
Now she’s ready to leave her past behind and start the life she was always meant to have. She’s looking for a family who will show her that she is safe, loved, and finally home.
Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people. Chihuahuas are often wary of strangers and can be snappy if they were never taught that hands are safe — early gentle socialization matters.
Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.
Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway. They get cold fast and need a sweater most of the winter.
