Rosie was found on the streets of Los Angeles following a homeless man around. We knew it was only a matter of time that she was bred and her puppies were sold for profit. Sadly, that is the story for all too many dogs here in Los Angeles. Our friend got her a safety and she is now spayed and vaccinated. She is dog friendly and very sweet. We think she's about two years old. This tricolored girl is looking for a forever home in the Los Angeles area.
Bold, curious and busy. Terriers were bred to hunt independently, which shows up as tenacity, a strong prey drive and a low tolerance for boredom. They are often more dog-selective than people-selective.
Moderate to high, and mental more than physical — 45-60 minutes plus digging, sniffing or puzzle outlets.
Their small size suits apartments well. Watch for barking at hallway noise and a strong interest in squirrels and rats.
