Courtesy Post: This sweet pup was found wandering the busy streets of South Central Los Angeles with a blanket around her neck like a makeshift leash. The finder couldn’t leave her behind and took her in, hoping to give her a second chance. She may have come from a difficult past, possibly a homeless or abusive situation. Temperament: Friendly & Social: No signs of aggression with other animals (including cats and squirrels) Affectionate & Curious: Loves people and enjoys exploring Well-Behaved: Sleeps through the night in a crate, walks twice a day, and is calm for her age Current Situation: The pup is currently being cared for in a small crate, as the finder already has multiple pets. She’s being fed well, receiving attention, lots of long walks and adjusting nicely. Labrador Retriever

🧠 Temperament

Courtesy Post: This sweet pup was found wandering the busy streets of South Central Los Angeles with a blanket around her neck like a makeshift leash. Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward.

🎾 Exercise

She’s being fed well, receiving attention, lots of long walks and adjusting nicely. High needs — 60-90 minutes daily.

✂️ Grooming

Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.
