Anna is happy-go-lucky. She has playful puppy energy and gets stopped everywhere she goes because people want to say hi, and she happily accepts their pets. She's food motivated and is taking well to training. She knows sit, down, paw, look at me, and leave it. We're working on drop it, spin, wait, and general impulse control.
She settles easily in her crate, is house-trained, and doesn't come onto the couch unless invited. She likes to nap on the floor near me while I work or cook, a perfect little buddy to keep you company, but she can also entertain herself with chew toys. She can get overexcited playing fetch, but will slow down at your direction.
Anna has a tendency to pull on her leash when being walked in new places, but in familiar settings she'll settle into your pace and is very calm. She'll notice other dogs, but it's been fairly easy to refocus her on treats. I've seen her lunge at squirrels in the park, but she loses interest after a few moments.
She's settling into city living nicely, potties on the pavement, and doesn't seem bothered by the noise, though walking through crowds isn't fun because she's on the short side. Anna's pretty easy going and would make an amazing addition your family.
Anna is approximately 4y 0m 13d old and is fully grown at 33 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done.
Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog.
