Indy is a truly well-behaved, smart, and gentle girl who's ready to find her forever home. She has a calm, easygoing personality, rarely barks, and is happiest spending time with her people. She also has a playful side that comes out when she's feels comfortable and having fun.
Food is definitely Indy's love language! She gets excited about mealtime and treats, but she's always incredibly polite. She gently takes food from your hand, showing just how sweet and respectful she is.
Indy is a smart dog who quickly learns routines and communicates in her own quiet way. She can be a little shy about asking to go outside, but she'll let you know by following you around and looking up at you with those hopeful eyes. That's her way of saying, "I need to go potty!"
One of Indy's best qualities is her wonderful manners. She's calm in the house, doesn't bark unnecessarily, and is a joy to have around. Her gentle nature and affectionate personality make her an easy companion for many different types of families.
If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, well-mannered, and loving best friend, Indy may be the perfect match. She has so much love to give and is ready to become a cherished member of her forever family.
Indy is approximately 0y 8m 16d old and may be 31 to 39 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done.
Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog.

Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
