Meet Jellybean (or Jelly for short). I first met Jelly at the shelter on a Borough Break outing and was immediately smitten with her. She's a sweet, playful young pup who's just trying to figure out this big, wide world we live in. Jelly is the cutest, sweetest thing (and she knows it!). She has the most darling little face and expressive ears, with a fun loving personality to match. And at 38 lbs, she's perfectly apartment-sized. Jelly is very smart, eager to please, and fast to learn new things. After just a few days in foster care, she's already responding to her name and learning new tricks and skills -- she knows sit, down, and paw is learning the "touch" cue. She's got a great mix of playful energy and total cuddle bug. She loves a good play session, but she's just as happy winding down for a cozy nap after she gets her wiggles out. Jelly is also completely devoted to her people. She follows you everywhere around the house, and at night, she loves nothing more than curling up right next to you in bed. Oh, and she hasn't had a single accident! Jelly is guaranteed to make you laugh and bring a big smile to your face. Jellybean is approximately 2y 1m 3d old and is fully grown at 38 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org.
