A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
About 25 lbs now and still growing — this breed usually reaches 30–45 lbs.
Marjorie is a loving, sweet, and affectionate dog. She loves to cuddle and follow you around, and she is happiest when she can be close to people. She is very well crate-trained and is perfectly happy to lie quietly in her crate without whining or fussing. Like any young dog, Marjorie is still learning and adjusting to a few things. When walking on the streets of New York, she is very curious and loves to sniff people and sometimes even tries to lick them! She is also still working on becoming fully potty trained, so we have had a few accidents in the house. Overall, Marjorie is a beautiful dog with a wonderful personality. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and easy to have around. She doesn't need constant entertainment—she is perfectly content just lying next to you and being part of whatever you are doing. Marjorie is approximately 0y 6m 12d old and may be 42 to 52 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

🧠 Temperament
Marjorie is a loving, sweet, and affectionate dog. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
When walking on the streets of New York, she is very curious and loves to sniff people and sometimes even tries to lick them!. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment
She is very well crate-trained and is perfectly happy to lie quietly in her crate without whining or fussing. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
