A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Fully grown at about 37 lbs.
Nora is a sweet and gentle southern belle who just made her big city debut from Kentucky! We don't know much about Nora's past, but believe she was well-loved and seems used to being an easy member of the household. She loves a luxurious life of leisure, snuggling with her humans on the couch, side-eyeing for some people food scraps (and taking them very gently when given), and has not had one accident in the house since arriving. She is smart and well-mannered, and knows sit, down, and "go for a walk". She loves her long, sniff-heavy walks, and would like to greet every person and dog we pass. She would make a great companion for families, couples or individuals of all kinds. Nora is approximately 6y 1m 3d old and is fully grown at 37 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment
It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
