Hi there! I’m Pearl, a little gem looking for my forever home. At just two months old, I’m already taking the big city by storm and loving every second of it. Everything in this world is new and exciting to me, and I can’t wait to explore it all with you. When I’m not zoom-ing around or engaging in some epic rough-and-tumble wrestling matches with my sister, you can usually find me doing what I do best: the classic puppy sploot flat on the floor to cool down and recharge. What I’m Learning & Loving: City Girl in Training: City sights and sounds don't scare me—I’m acclimating like a absolute champion! Stroller Royalty: Since I’m still a young pup building up my immunity, I do my neighborhood neighborhood strolls in style via my puppy stroller. I love sitting tall and taking in the world like a little princess. A Smart Cookie: I am super food-motivated and eager to please, which makes me highly trainable! I’m already making awesome progress every single day with crate training, house rules, and potty training. I would do great with an active individual, couple, or family who is ready for all the fun, reward, and routine that comes with raising a smart young puppy. Whether you already have a dog who loves to play or I'm your one-and-only, I’m ready to shower you with love, puppy kisses, and endless entertainment. Pearl is approximately 0y 1m 28d old and may be 35 to 45 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

🧠 Temperament
At just two months old, I’m already taking the big city by storm and loving every second of it. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
I would do great with an active individual, couple, or family who is ready for all the fun, reward, and routine that comes with raising a smart young…. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
I’m already making awesome progress every single day with crate training, house rules, and potty training. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
