Hi I'm Romeo! My foster mom told me anybody who adopts me will be the luckiest! I have spent the few two days being toted around. I am great on a leash on also happy to be carried! I am a social butterfly and have loved all dogs and humans I have met, children included, they are so fun! I am almost potty trained and enjoy my crate but get annoyed when there is a party going on outside and I am not included. So far my favorite activities have been going to Prospect Park and curling up in a ball on my foster moms clean clothes. I LOVE a car ride and whenever I get excited I wag my cute little tail. I sleep through the night and love a good nap. I am a perfect pocket pup and I cannot wait to find my forever home.
Romeo is approximately 0y 6m 7d old and may be 17 to 21 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done.
Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog.

Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
