Sky

Sky is a sweetie pie who just wants pets all day long if she could! She has the most alluring eyes and the ultimate puppy dog face - there is no better companion! She loves following you around and she makes human friends instantly, immediately asking them for pets and laying on her back for belly rubs. She is a big napper and finds the most comfy spots around, but when she’s not napping, Sky loves looking out the window to survey what’s going on outside. Sky is potty trained and does let you know when she needs to go out; she rarely barks and isn’t reactive to other dogs or people on the street or noise coming from the hallway of our building. The only time she really does bark is when she’s trying to get pets or wants to go out. She sleeps through the night in her crate and listens to “come” and “stay” commands! Though not very food motivated, she has selective treats she likes and we are working on other commands like “sit.” She loves playing with her tennis ball, entertaining herself very easily and gets bursts of energy throughout the day but is otherwise a very calm and chill girl! She would make a great companion for just about anyone! Sky is approximately 4y 6m 28d old and is fully grown at 53 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue.
