About 12 lbs now and still growing — this breed usually reaches 30–45 lbs.
This small adorable bundle of joy has so much to offer. She may be shy at first but she warms up people quickly. If you're a fan of kisses, get ready to receive an endless supply! Yasu makes it her mission to make sure that you know you are loved everyday. Who wouldn't want that? Her regular days are filled with exploring the house and following you around to make sure you're safe. Yasu may not be tall enough to jump on the couch but that won't stop her from trying to join you on it. She knows how to use doggie stairs and ramps. It's cute to see her belly slide down the ramp when she wants to get off the couch. When it comes to playtime Yasu plays well by herself, with you and with another dog. She loves to play with rope toys and balls but her favorite games to play are wrestling and a good old fashion game of tag. She gets these little burst of energy that make her a little clumsy but it's so entertaining to watch. As much as Yasu loves to play this princess loves her beauty sleep as well. She likes to cuddle and will often sleep next to you. Yasu is approximately 0y 3m 5d old and may be 45 to 55 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.
🧠 Temperament
She may be shy at first but she warms up people quickly. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
When it comes to playtime Yasu plays well by herself, with you and with another dog. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
She knows how to use doggie stairs and ramps. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
