Meet Bengi! This sweet boy was found wandering the streets as a stray by a Good Samaritan who wanted to help him but unfortunately couldn’t keep him. Bengi was brought to our partner veterinary clinic, and now he’s hoping for a second chance at the happy ending he deserves. He’s ready to leave his days on the streets behind and find a loving family to call his own. Could you be the one to give Bengi the forever home he’s been waiting for? Please consider adopting him! Every bio is just a snapshot of the animal. For more information about Bengi, please reach out to our Adoptions Team. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Interested in fostering or adopting? Need more info on this dog? 🧠 Temperament
This sweet boy was found wandering the streets as a stray by a Good Samaritan who wanted to help him but unfortunately couldn’t keep him. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
