About Canyon (p)

Meet Canyon!

Just like the breathtaking canyon he's named after, Canyon is impossible to forget. This handsome boy was found wandering the streets of Georgia with no one looking for him, but he's left his past behind and is ready for a future filled with love.

Canyon is a friendly, affectionate pup who loves making new friends wherever he goes. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a hopeful smile, always eager for pets, treats, and attention. Despite being on his own, Canyon has held onto his sweet spirit and trusting nature.

Now all he needs is a family to call his own. Whether it's exploring the outdoors, going for long walks, or curling up beside you after a busy day, Canyon is ready to be your loyal companion. He's proof that sometimes the best adventures begin with a second chance.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Please note that the listed location for this dog may not be accurate due to technical limitations of this database and we have transportation options available within 6 hours of NYC (so don't let location hold you back)!

Mixed Breed temperament

Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog. What the foster or shelter observed day to day is far more predictive than any breed guess.

Exercise

Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.

In a NYC apartment

Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
