Meet Oria Oria is a beautiful girl who was abandoned at a time when she needed her family most. When Oria tested positive for heartworm, a preventable and treatable condition, her owner decided they did not want to give her the time she needed to heal and recover. Instead, Oria was left behind at the veterinarian's office. We cannot imagine how confusing that must have been for her. One moment she had a family, and the next she was being left behind simply because she became sick. But Oria was not going to be forgotten. We made her a promise: her diagnosis would not determine her future. She would get the care, time, and love she needed, and when she was ready, we would help her find the life she always deserved. Oria deserves so much more than the person who walked away from her. She deserves someone who will see her beautiful heart, stand by her through the difficult moments, and love her for all the days ahead. Her past may have changed her story, but it does not define who she is. We promised Oria a better life. Now we are looking for the family who will help us keep that promise. 🧠 Temperament
