About Tamsin

Tamsin’s journey began in New York, where she was saved by a kind independent rescuer who wanted to help her find a better life but didn’t have the means to care for her long term. Thankfully, Tamsin is now safe with us and ready to find the forever home she deserves.

This sweet girl has so much love to give and is ready for a fresh start filled with comfort, stability, and affection. Tamsin is eager to leave her difficult past behind and become someone’s loyal companion and best friend.

All she needs now is a loving family willing to give her the happy ending she’s been waiting for.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.

Please note that the listed location for this dog may not be accurate due to technical limitations of this database and we have transportation options available within 6 hours of NYC (so don't let location hold you back)!

Mixed Breed temperament

Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog. What the foster or shelter observed day to day is far more predictive than any breed guess.

Exercise

Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.

In a NYC apartment

Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
