Meet Winston Winston is a sweet boy who has already survived something no dog should ever have to experience. Winston was found abandoned alongside Willow and Wesley, the three of them left together in a carrier outside during a brutal Nor’easter in New York. While the storm raged around them, these three dogs were left exposed to the cold and elements with nowhere to go and no one coming to protect them. When they were found, all three were in heartbreaking condition. Their hair was severely matted, they were suffering from painful skin infections, and they had maggots. It is difficult to imagine how long they had been suffering or how frightened and uncomfortable they must have been. But Winston held on. He made it through that terrible night, and now he has a chance at the life he should have had all along. A life with warmth, comfort, regular care, and people who will never leave him behind. We cannot change what happened to Winston, but we can make sure his future is filled with kindness. He deserves a soft bed, gentle hands, and a family who will cherish him and remind him every day that he is finally safe. Winston has already endured the storm. Now we want to help him find the sunshine. Please consider opening your heart and home to this deserving boy. He has been through enough. Now he deserves to know what it feels like to be loved.
