Betsy's owner dumped her at a high-kill shelter, where she was immediately scheduled for euthanasia. Volunteers were pleading with us to do something. So we went and rescued her. We met a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who is smart, curious, and loves having something to do. Betsy enjoys working on commands, playing with the hose, and hanging out with her people. Betsy loves kids. We have a video of her taking commands from a 3-year-old girl. She's also friendly with dogs her size--she’s ready for an active home that will keep her engaged and adored.

We met a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who is smart, curious, and loves having something to do. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

She's also friendly with dogs her size--she’s ready for an active home that will keep her engaged and adored. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
