Excuse us while we swoon over Ms. Pumpkin, who won over her foster home in less than 24 hours! This 2-month-old, 13-pound puppy was rescued with her two littermates after all three were dropped off at our partner shelter in Kentucky. They’re the sweetest pups, with a whole new life ahead of them! Pumpkin has been spayed, vetted, and has started her puppy vaccine series. Now she’s ready to find a loving home of her own. This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.
🧠 Temperament
Now she’s ready to find a loving home of her own. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
