Bodie is the sweetest little grandpa angel you’ll ever meet. ❤️
He’s 14 years old, weighs just 11 pounds, and no one can understand how this precious boy ended up abandoned at the shelter.
This week he’ll be getting a much-needed dental and a little extra TLC, but our veterinarians have given him a thorough checkup. Aside from completely falling in love with him (just like everyone else does), they believe he still has some wonderful years ahead of him.
Bodie sleeps in bed with his foster dads, walks beautifully on a leash, and is fully potty trained. He adores snuggling with his humans and gets along with every animal he meets.
In short, he’s absolute perfection.
Now all Bodie needs is a family of his own. He deserves to spend his golden years surrounded by love, and we’d love to find that family for him as soon as possible.
Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people. Chihuahuas are often wary of strangers and can be snappy if they were never taught that hands are safe — early gentle socialization matters.
Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.
Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway. They get cold fast and need a sweater most of the winter.
