He’s been through a lot... time in the shelter, feeling sick, and being isolated... and now that he’s safe, he’s finally starting to show us who he really is. Each day he settles in more, his personality comes out a little brighter: curious, sweet, and loves being near social dogs. Churro absolutely loves other dogs and thrives when he has appropriate canine role models around him. He takes so much confidence from them, and watching him learn and blossom in a stable environment has been the best kind of magic. He also previously lived with cats, which is a great sign for a home with feline family members (we’ll always recommend slow, structured introductions to set everyone up for success). Churro is going to be a true “lifetime buddy” dog, the kind who wants to be part of your day, tag along on adventures, and then curl up and relax when it’s time to come home.
