Matilda is the perfect mix of adventurous and cuddly. She loves going on walks, exploring the park, and making new dog friends, but she’s just as happy curling up for a nap after a day of fun. She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate and loving once she feels comfortable. Matilda gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she’s always excited to meet new friends. Her favorite things include playing with her stuffies, belly rubs, park trips, and going on little adventures. She also has the funniest habit of playing on her back and sliding around on her belly. Matilda walks nicely on leash using her adorable short legs and is a very polite girl. She could use a bit more basic training, but she’s eager to please and already has such a sweet foundation. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who will happily join you on adventures, Matilda may be your girl!
🧠 Temperament
She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes incredibly affectionate and loving once she feels comfortable. Bold, curious and busy.

She loves going on walks, exploring the park, and making new dog friends, but she’s just as happy curling up for a nap after a day of fun. Moderate to high, and mental more than physical — 45-60 minutes plus digging, sniffing or puzzle outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Their small size suits apartments well. Watch for barking at hallway noise and a strong interest in squirrels and rats.
