Hi! How are you? thanks for stopping by to read about me! I am Rootbeer and I am a DELIGHT!! My foster family even used the word “turn key” to describe me which is a very huge compliment. I am a lovely 6 year old lady on a diet to shed a few pounds. I am housebroken and crate trained and i fabulous with dogs and also learning to co exist with cats. wanna be best friends? please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org
🧠 Temperament
Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward. Labs stay adolescent longer than many breeds and are often goofy well past their second birthday.
🎾 Exercise
High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.
✂️ Grooming
I am a lovely 6 year old lady on a diet to shed a few pounds. Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
I am housebroken and crate trained and i fabulous with dogs and also learning to co exist with cats. Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised.
