Hi! I'm Granny Shake Shack! Nice to meet you! I can't see with my eyes but I can see with my heart (and I can certainly still smell everything with my cute little booper). I'm a 12-year-old schnoodle (best guess), 15 lbs, who can navigate around like a champ! I am great with other animals (dogs and cats) and would probably be fine with kids who are gentle. I love my neighborhood walks! wanna be besties? Let's spend my golden years together doing all the fun stuff! Please note: All of our dogs reside in private foster homes. Once you submit an application, our volunteer adoption team will screen it; if your application is a potential match for a specific dog, it will be forwarded to the foster parent, who will contact you to answer questions and schedule a meet-and-greet. Please be aware that we do not transport our dogs. If you are applying from out of state, we require that you travel to Los Angeles to meet us and ensure the dog returns home with you via a car or an in-cabin flight. www.apurposefulrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
🧠 Temperament
I am great with other animals (dogs and cats) and would probably be fine with kids who are gentle. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
I love my neighborhood walks!. Depends on the individual.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
