At just 1 year old and 10 pounds, this adorable Maltipoo is the perfect combination of playful puppy energy and snuggly sweetheart. Kairo loves a good walk, a play session, and exploring the world around him, but his absolute favorite place? Right in your arms. This affectionate little guy is BIG on kisses, cuddles, and being wherever his people are. Kairo is a people person through and through! He loves making new human friends and wants nothing more than to be part of the action. While he's done well playing with other dogs off-leash, he can be a little unsure around unfamiliar pups on busy city streets. He's still building his confidence, and we think he'd appreciate a home in a quieter neighborhood where he can explore the world at his own pace. Like any young pup, Kairo is still learning the ropes! He's making great progress with his potty training, getting comfortable in his crate, and working on his leash manners. He's also a foodie at heart, which makes training a whole lot easier. With a little patience, consistency, and plenty of treats, this smart little guy has so much potential. Even better? Kairo is already showing that he can settle independently. After needing a little extra reassurance during his first couple of days in foster care, he's now doing beautifully when his foster family leaves the house, relaxing comfortably in his crate. Kairo's dream home? One with people who are excited to help a young dog continue learning, take him on plenty of adventures, and, most importantly, provide unlimited snuggles. He'd be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only, or with a respectful pup sibling, and his ideal family will give him the time and encouragement he needs to continue blossoming. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Will need to be neutered. If adopted before his appointment, his adopters will be responsible for transporting him to/from.
