Meet Buddy! - Two brothers abandoned at Baldwin Park Shelter. They were so loving, so gentle that instead of being euthanized they were sent to a rescue in hopes of a 2nd chance. But no one came. Day after day they have waited-- staring at the kennel door searching for the people who left them behind but no one ever walked through. Right before their time was up we stepped in because these boys aren't done loving. They're about 8-9 years old but their hearts are young and full of hope. Watching them together is pure magic, they argue like siblings, cuddle like puppies, and shower each other with kisses. They love their walks together, sunbathing and most of all just being next to their person. Buddy is the more independent adventurer but ALWAYS checks in on his brother Charlie. He loves long walks, pushing Charlies buttons and then calming Charlie down with kisses. Its clear someone once cherished them. We don't know what happened but we do know this: they are still waiting. Waiting for love, for home. Two dogs aren't twice the work- they're twice the love! And Charlie and Buddy are as easy and sweet as they come. Please, if you have space in your heart and home adopt these boys. Give them the family they so deperately miss because this time they deserve to know that love never leaves.

Chihuahua

🧠 Temperament

They were so loving, so gentle that instead of being euthanized they were sent to a rescue in hopes of a 2nd chance. Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people.

🎾 Exercise

They love their walks together, sunbathing and most of all just being next to their person. Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.

✂️ Grooming

Easy for both smooth and long coats. Dental care is the real priority; small breeds are prone to tooth disease.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway. They get cold fast and need a sweater most of the winter.
