Meet Frazier! Fraizer’s story starts in Fraizer Park, where he was found terrified, shut down, and out of trust for the world. Picked up by animal control, his fear came off as aggression, and he was sadly labeled for euthanasia. But Fraizer wasn’t mean—he was just scared. With no one to trust, he built walls to protect himself. We saw through those walls and brought him into our care. It’s taken over six months, but with consistency, patience, and a lot of quiet kindness, Fraizer has started to let people in. He now enjoys soft head scratches from familiar staff, takes treats gently, and loves to play fetch (though you’ll need a treat ready to trade for the ball—he’s no fool!). Fraizer would thrive in a calm, adult-only home, ideally with no other pets—or possibly one very mellow dog who can show him the ropes. He’s still working through leash fears, so a private, secure backyard would be a great help as he builds confidence at his own pace. This boy needs a strong, patient, and understanding person who can lead with compassion and help him finally feel safe. Fraizer is a work in progress, but he’s also proof that love and patience can bring out the best in even the most scared heart. Are you the one who can show him that he's worth loving?

Poodle

🧠 Temperament

Fraizer would thrive in a calm, adult-only home, ideally with no other pets—or possibly one very mellow dog who can show him the ropes. Genuinely one of the smartest breeds — quick to learn, and quick to invent bad habits if bored.

🎾 Exercise

He now enjoys soft head scratches from familiar staff, takes treats gently, and loves to play fetch (though you’ll need a treat ready to trade for…. 45-60 minutes daily plus puzzle work.

✂️ Grooming

High maintenance. The curly single coat doesn't shed much but mats easily; expect brushing several times a week and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

It’s taken over six months, but with consistency, patience, and a lot of quiet kindness, Fraizer has started to let people in. Excellent city dogs — low shedding, adaptable and highly trainable.
