1-year-old, 55-lb Doberman Cher is a playful ball of energy. Cher and her siblings were found as strays on the streets of Bakersfield, CA. They were covered in Demodex mange, a debilitating skin infection, and extremely malnourished. When they arrived at the shelter, they were scheduled to be euthanized. We got to them just before their deadline. Thankfully, they received the care they needed, and her siblings have already been adopted. Now, it’s Cher’s turn. This fun, affectionate girl loves to play and gets along with other dogs. She is a ball of youthful energy and enjoys sniffing around on walks and getting her wiggles out in the yard. Cher is a smart pup who is fully potty-trained, knows several commands, and completed a training program with Corey Chavez K9 where she solidified her training foundations. She will thrive with adopters who are experienced with large breeds and will maintain her training. If you’re looking for a goofy, fun-loving best friend, Cher could be your girl!
🧠 Temperament
This fun, affectionate girl loves to play and gets along with other dogs. Intelligent, intensely loyal and strongly bonded to their person — Dobermans are often described as velcro dogs.

She is a ball of youthful energy and enjoys sniffing around on walks and getting her wiggles out in the yard. High — 60-90 minutes daily plus training.
✂️ Grooming
Very easy. Short coat, weekly wipe-down, minimal shedding. They feel the cold and often need a coat in a NYC winter.
