Minam is a 2 year old and 35lb Jindo Mix. Minam was rescued as a tiny puppy from the euthinasia list at the Siheung shelter. In Korea, the overpopulation of animals and underfunding of city shelters means even healthy puppies can be put on the euthinasia list. Minam was lucky to know love from his young age, but he can still be a little nervous around new people or loud sudden noises. Even still, he warms up quickly and can be quite the silly guy. He loves playing independently with his toys by tossing them into the air and catching them all by himself - but if a nearby human is up for tug that’s even better! When he really gets comfy in his space, he often views the world upside down and belly up. The city can be pretty daunting for any pup, but as the days go on Minam is learning that he is brave! He’s an angel on the leash and rarely pulls, but can still jump at a loud sound. His crate training is going well and with consistency and encouragement he’ll be the most lovely well-rounded guy! Minam is also eligible for our Jindo Journey training stipend! He and his adopters could receive $300 towards their training to help everyone have long-term success and happiness. Minam was lucky to know love from his young age, but he can still be a little nervous around new people or loud sudden noises. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
