Star is 2 years old and about 30lbs. His ears are round like a teddy bear and his smile lights up a room. This classic white Jindo is anything but ordinary. Though he can be a little shy at first in new settings, once he warms up he’s the perfect little man. As he gets comfy in his foster home, he’s learning of all the plush things he can lay on and figuring out what humans do with their lives by following his fosters around. On walks outside, Star continues his perfection. He’s curious but light on the leash and responsive to check ins. Whether you like walks through the park, a run to get a coffee, or hiking upstate Star is your bud! Star is also eligible for our Jindo Journey training stipend! He and his adopters could receive $300 towards their training to help everyone have longterm success and happiness. You don’t have to wait for an adoption event. In-person meet-and-greets are available in the NYC area, with virtual meet-and-greets available for adopters outside NYC. Though he can be a little shy at first in new settings, once he warms up he’s the perfect little man. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

Whether you like walks through the park, a run to get a coffee, or hiking upstate Star is your bud!. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
