Meet Penelope! The most adorable 8-month-old 40lb Bull Terrier. This sweet girl was surrendered to the shelter for being "too playful." Yes, you read that right! Penelope is pretty darn perfect. She LOVES every dog she meets and wants to be friends with them ALL. She adores humans of all ages, including kids, and hasn't met anyone she isn't madly in love with. She's crate-trained, potty-trained, and working on some leash pulling (she's a fast learner!). But what really makes Penelope special is how incredibly affectionate she is. Cuddling is her absolute favorite thing to do, and she melts right into you. Penelope is still a puppy and will need continued guidance as she learns about the big, wide world. Her ideal home is with an active family who wants a dog to join them on adventures and snuggle up with at the end of the day. She would LOVE a home with kids, another playful pup, and ideally a yard to romp around in.

Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.
