Hi, I'm Prince Louie! I'm a 3–4-month-old, 33-lb Pit Bull mix with a bright smile and soulful eyes that win over just about everyone I meet! I'm a happy, friendly pup who loves meeting new people and making friends with other dogs. I've got all the playful energy you'd expect from a puppy my age, and sometimes I get a little extra excited around kids. I'm still learning my manners and working on housetraining, so I'll need a family who's ready to give me some structure, patience, and plenty of love as I grow. I didn't have the easiest start in life. I was found living in a backyard in Los Angeles, where I was neglected and wasn't getting enough to eat. I kept escaping through an open gate, but luckily, some kind people came to my rescue. Now I'm getting a second chance at finding the loving home I deserve! My rescue friends say I'm "one in a million," and I can't wait to show my future family just how special I am. Could that be you? Much Love, Louie

Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.

Their small size suits apartments well. Watch for barking at hallway noise and a strong interest in squirrels and rats.
