Bethany is a cute little sweetheart with the gentlest personality. She is calm, quiet, and affectionate, and she absolutely loves cuddling with her humans. She doesn't bark much and is happiest when she can curl up right next to you — as close as possible! Bethany is a little timid and sensitive, especially when she is outside. You can tell she is nervous by her body language: she often keeps her tail down and tucked close to her belly when walking outdoors. She may also feel uneasy around certain situations, such as very noisy children, women carrying umbrellas, or men carrying bags. In those moments, she can become nervous and a little guarded, so she would do best with patient people who will give her time to build confidence. One of the sweetest things about Bethany is that she is not food-guarding at all. She enjoys her meals but knows when she's full and will simply stop eating when she's had enough. Overall, Bethany is a little angel. She is sweet, gentle, cuddly, and easygoing once she feels comfortable. Because of her small size and calm personality, she could be a wonderful companion for many different types of households, including an apartment or a quieter home. If you're looking for a little shadow who will happily sleep right beside you and fill your home with quiet companionship, Bethany might be your girl. Bethany is approximately 0y 6m 5d old and may be 16 to 20 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org.
