Hi! My name is Flash, and I’m a 3-month-old puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I’m a playful, curious little guy who loves exploring the world around me. My favourite things are belly rubs, treats, playing with my plushie raccoon, and having fun with my foster buddy Freckles. When playtime is over, I’m always up for a cuddle—but I’m also happy entertaining myself and enjoying some quiet time. I’m a very quick learner! I’m working hard on using my pee pads like a big boy, although I still have the occasional accident I’m really getting the hang of them, my foster parents tell me I’m a good boy and that makes my tail wag a lot. I love learning new things, I already know how to sit, and I’m working on learning “paw” too! I love training because I get treats and praise, which makes it extra fun for me. I’m also teething right now, so I love to chew. My teething toys help a lot, and sometimes I need a reminder to leave things like shoes alone! If you’re looking for a happy, loving pup who’s smart, playful, and ready to be your best friend, I might just be the perfect match. I’d also love a home where I can keep learning, playing, and being my happy little self. A family who understands puppy energy, gives me gentle guidance, and lets me be part of their daily life would be perfect for me. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! Flash is approximately 0y 2m 12d old and may be 20 to 30 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. 🧠 Temperament
If you’re looking for a happy, loving pup who’s smart, playful, and ready to be your best friend, I might just be the perfect match. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
When playtime is over, I’m always up for a cuddle—but I’m also happy entertaining myself and enjoying some quiet time. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
My teething toys help a lot, and sometimes I need a reminder to leave things like shoes alone!. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
