A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Jinu is shy around new (and tall) people at first, but quickly warms up. As long as you give him space to come to you first, he will climb onto you or into your lap. He was super sweet and cuddly from the first night - offering frequent kisses, cuddles, and opportunities for scratches and belly rubs. He's still adjusting to city life and prefers peace and quiet, but can quickly build confidence and is a curious, smart, lovable, silly boy. Jinu is approximately 1y 1m 0d old and is fully grown at 28 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. 🎾 Exercise
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
He's still adjusting to city life and prefers peace and quiet, but can quickly build confidence and is a curious, smart, lovable, silly boy. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
