A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Heeeeere’s Johnny! Johnny is still very much a big baby at heart. He’s playful, affectionate, and curious about the world around him, with plenty of puppy antics still up his sleeve. Whether he’s busy collecting his toys, investigating his surroundings, or curling up on the couch for belly rubs, Johnny brings plenty of personality to everyday life. He’s still figuring out some of the basics. With patience and consistency, you’ll be sure to get a sweet, goofy companion with lots of love to give. If you have room in your heart for a young dog who’s still growing into himself, Johnny might just be your guy. Johnny is approximately 1y 3m 22d old and is fully grown at 49 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
