📏 Full size

Fully grown at about 50 lbs.

A large dog by weight

Rylee is the gentlest, sweetest girl around. Rylee is a fluffblall full of love. When she's not nudging you for cuddles and affection, she loves to lounge around, nap, and enjoys long walks in the park. Rylee is incredibly well-behaved. Apart from the odd bark at someone in the hallway or being distracted by squirrels in the park, she is well-trained and takes well to redirection. Rylee is a kind dog; she loves quality time, pets, and treats. Rylee would thrive in a quiet environment surrounded by love (and nature!). Rylee is approximately 2y 0m 8d old and is fully grown at 50 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.

🎾 Exercise

When she's not nudging you for cuddles and affection, she loves to lounge around, nap, and enjoys long walks in the park. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

Apart from the odd bark at someone in the hallway or being distracted by squirrels in the park, she is well-trained and takes well to redirection. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
