Meet Winter! The sweetest, most affectionate puppy who believes cuddles are more important than just about anything else. Once she feels comfortable with you, she wants nothing more than to be by your side. She warmed up to me within an afternoon and has been my little shadow ever since! Winter can be a bit timid when meeting new people or experiencing new things, especially with all the sights and sounds of the city. But she is already showing how quickly she can adjust, and I have no doubt that with patience, encouragement, and continued socialization, she will grow into a happy and confident dog. Don't let her love of cuddling fool you, Winter also has a serious need for speed! She would thrive in an active household that can give her opportunities to run, explore, play, and adventure. She is still learning basic commands, but she is a smart girl who is eager to learn. Winter is also working on her leash manners. She currently pulls quite a bit on walks and can become overstimulated by the busy city, so she will benefit from continued training and patience as she gains confidence. When it comes to other dogs, Winter seems curious and playful with smaller dogs she sees on walks. She can be a little more hesitant around larger dogs and may need some time and positive experiences to feel comfortable. Overall, Winter is an incredibly loving, energetic, and sweet puppy with so much potential. She would do best with someone who is excited to continue her training, help build her confidence, keep up with her active side - and, most importantly, provide plenty of cuddles! Winter is approximately 0y 10m 29d old and is fully grown at 22 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org.
