Zayne

Zayne is the sweetest companion and is happiest just being by your side! He loves lounging on the couch, looking out the window, and curling up for plenty of cuddles. He's incredibly affectionate and wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Whether you're working, relaxing, or heading out for a walk, Zayne is just happy to be included. He's also a great work-from-home companion! He'll drag his blanket over to our desks and curl up beside us while we work. If he hears an unfamiliar noise, he'll sometimes position himself between us and the door, as if he's keeping guard. Despite how affectionate he is, Zayne isn't needy at all. He's perfectly content lounging nearby while we go about our day, just happy to be in the same room as his people. Zayne's enthusiastic greetings have become the star of the show! Even if we've only left the room for a minute, he acts like he hasn't seen us in days, jumping up with excitement and trying to give us kisses. He especially loves when we sit on the couch so he can hop up beside us, lick our faces, and sniff us all over to see where we've been. Once he's gotten all his excitement out, he'll settle down with his head resting on you, as if to make sure he knows the second you get up again. Ask Zayne if he wants to go for a walk and he'll literally jump in the air with excitement! Despite all that enthusiasm, he's an amazing walking buddy. He's easy to manage on leash and doesn't pull. He can get agitated when he sees bigger dogs, so we give them some extra space on walks, but smaller dogs don't seem to bother him. At home, Zayne is an easygoing houseguest. He's fully housetrained and crate trained, and he's well-behaved when he's out of his crate. He doesn't chew or get into things and is just as happy curling up with you at home as he is heading out for a walk. Zayne would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, affectionate dog who wants to be part of their everyday life. He has so much love to give, and whoever gets to come home to his enthusiastic greetings every day will be very lucky! Zayne is approximately 9y 3m 14d old and is fully grown at 46 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble.
