“Hanlo, World. My name is Burger. I am 7 years old; a very grown-up age in puppy years, and it is time I find my family. As a grown-up adult boy, I have a few things going for me that make me stand out from the crowd. Ah-hem. Here they are: 1. I’m a great communicator. Whether I need a potty, a playtime, or some extra attention, I’ll let you know with a raspy “aWooOOo.” 2. I know all the ins and outs of being a good boy: I value my downtime, I’ve perfected potty training, and the only command I really know is “sit” but I’m so good at it. I am the best sitter in the biz. 3. I am content to be a couch potato, a sofa surfer, a house hippo. Naps are the best part of all my days. Hmm... what else, what else… I like bigger puppy pals, but I also like being the center of attention. I am 66 pounds of very beautiful goodness, and I would very much like to come home with you. I think you may be the family of my dreams. All you gotta do is apply to adopt me! Ok, love you, bye. xoxoxo Burger” All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. 🧠 Temperament
Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog. What the foster or shelter observed day to day is far more predictive than any breed guess.
🎾 Exercise
Whether I need a potty, a playtime, or some extra attention, I’ll let you know with a raspy “aWooOOo.” 2. Depends on the individual.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
I know all the ins and outs of being a good boy: I value my downtime, I’ve perfected potty training, and the only command I really know is “sit” but…. Mixes are often excellent city dogs.
